ABOUT
As final project during my scenography studies at Brera Accademy, I decided to represent the lyric opera “Faust”, composed by Charles Gounod in 1859.
Based on the works of the italian sculptor Adolfo Wildt, I created a scene with moving panels, hand painted, easy and elongated shapes. During the show, they can get high and low according to the scene, revealing different figurations. The scenography is actually Mephistopheles, the devil who took a deal with Doctor Faust in order to have his soul.
